Golden Lime

Original, commissioned work. 

This piece was commissioned by a dear friend in Japan. The lime tree blossoms and bears abundant fruit. The gold, made with gold powder and leaf, changes its expression with the angle of light, captivating the viewer’s heart. The ladybug, a symbol of good luck, adds an extra sense of excitement and joy. This piece, reminiscent of stained glass, beautifully expresses the wonder of life.

Size: 35 x 40cm. Mixed media on linen canvas with UV varnish. Framed in dark brown oak.
