Hydrangeas

This is the first non-commissioned piece that I put up for sale. When I announced its completion and that it was ready for sale, I was genuinely surprised and very happy that several people were immediately interested in buying it. It is also my most popular work on Instagram.

Using a magnifying glass, I drew fine stems and layer upon layer of hydrangea petals, adding depth. The pale hue has the power to calm and soothe the viewer's heart.
