Olives

This was one of a set of three paintings (along with Lilac Grace and Smiling Mimosa) that were selected to be presented at the Omnia Art Prize & Exhibition in 2025. I was so excited when all three paintings were sold on the opening night of the exhibition. 

What surprises many people who see the painting is the depth of this work. Each leaf is carefully depicted, with the attention to creating a world that draws the viewer in.

When I was just becoming a painter, I received an order for an olive painting. When I paint olives, I always go back to the beginning.
